Bali offers more than just incredible scenery and amazingly friendly people. Travel back in time and learn about Bali's unique history when you visit its serenely beautiful palaces and temples. For example, only 20 minutes' drive from Villa Campuhan lies the Taman Tirta Gangga or "Holy Water of the Ganges."  It is also referred to as “The Water Palace,” as it has a large freshwater swimming pool open to the public and a range of restaurants on-site.

This complex, constructed right after World War II by a rajah named Gusti Bagus Jelantik, was inspired by the Palace of Versailles in France. It combines a temple and palace structure with gardens designed for relaxation and contemplation.

Only 34 minutes from Villa Campuhan, you will find Penataran Lempuyang. This temple complex is one of the most iconic in Bali. Couples will love taking romantic pictures at the iconic split gate that overlooks the lush valley below and skyscraping mountains beyond.
