“Selak” is a delicious fruit grown in east Bali that tastes like a cross between a pineapple and an apple. It’s for the selak’s rarity and sweetness this villa was named. Totally private across the river by a cantilevered bridge, Villa Selak has its own 35 ft. long ocean-side swimming pool for use of Selak guests only. It is a Balinese-style house for honeymooners or lovers of any age. It has a large bathroom with a two-person marble tub open to the sky, a King size bed downstairs and a single bed upstairs, wrap-around decks overlooking both the river and a lotus pond complete with yoga deck. On the second story is another small bedroom with an eagle’s next feel. Villa Selak is a world unto itself for those who seek it.
“My husband I finished our honeymoon with 4 nights in Villa Selak. Our time there was pure magic. The grounds are beautiful, enhancing the natural elements but exuding luxury at the same time. The staff is attentive, helpful and kind. And the dinners are simply out of the this world. We went to bed every night stuffed and raving about the several dishes served. Make sure to visit Virgin Beach close by for a day trip. And for those seeking some exercise and views, hire a guide and do the temple trekking.
